Can someone explain the chord progression to me?

    • @RaquelSantos-hj1mq
      @RaquelSantos-hj1mq 2 года назад +56

      @@gabrielferrari7909
      Bm F# D/A
      E/G# Em/G (only 2 beats on each E chord)
      Bm F# Bsus B
      Repeat
      Breathe section
      Am Amsus Am E/G#
      Bmsus (9/8) Bm Bmsus (9/8) Bm/D (4 beats)
      F#sus (don't resolve)
Repeat but at F#sus play 2 beats them add an E on top (F# sus 7) for two beats then resolve to F# major
      Back to verse
If you aren't familiar with sus (suspension) it means play the 4 of the chord instead of the 3, for example, at the end of the first phrase, Bsus is B, E. F#, and then the E resolves down to D# for an B major chord.
For a 9/8 suspension, you can think of it as a 2 resolving to 3 so you will be alternating between C# and D for the middle note of the Bm chord.
If you aren't familiar with slashes in chord symbols the first letter is the chord and the letter after the slash is the note you play in the bass. So D/A means a regular D chord, but play an A for the bottom note.
      Cheers!

As much as my ears perk up at the sound of Radiohead, I found it to be cheap filmmaking -- West World's use of Radiohead tunes. A weak filmmaker has to rely on music to give a scene emotional weight, rather than enhance it. That's the difference of Tarantino's use of music in films vs. West World. The scene is already strong and the music introduced just makes it better. I'm not able to articulate my point coherently but hopefully the point comes across.

I love the shuffle feel to this. It adds a somekinda positive feel to the original (brilliant) song. I just subscribed btw, and am also going to help you with the synch;) keep it up man.

This is beautiful. I have been playing your arrangement. Where you play double notes (on the F# for example), I am experimenting with trying to grab a note an octave higher to add more variety, and sometimes even an entire chord, but always very quietly so it's more of an effect, the melody is not obscured. I might try to do the same with the bass in the left hand.
